“Maybe someone accidentally dumps holy water on her. You can check if she burns.” Iraklís rolled his eyes. 

“Okay now you’re just being mean.” She pursed her lips.

“How am I mean?” He wanted to know. “You want to exorcise a baby!”

“I don’t want to exorcise her! I just want to see if she actually is possessed.” Hera threw her hands up in frustration.

“How is it your problem? I’ve never even met her and can tell you that she’s evil as fuck. But you know what?” He leaned over to her. “Our children never grow old. Those who manage to have kids lose them quickly.”

“That…. Is horrible.” Hera pushed him away. “Don’t say things like that. Just because it didn’t end well for you doesn’t mean that it will automatically end badly for everyone else. I expect that baby to grow up into a fine young woman, even if she possessed.”

“Hey, I’m not the only one.” He held up his hands. “And possessed people usually end in the mental ward of a hospital. But it’s curable.” The man leaned back again. 

“Whatever.” She sighed and let the topic drop.

“Hera, leave Heracles’ daughter alone.” He rolled his eyes. “I’m very sure she is possessed by the devil and how Heracles can stay so calm is a complete miracle to me but it’s none of your business.”

“I wasn’t going to actually preform and exorcism. I just wanted to see if she could pass through church doors…” Hera tsked him. “Nothing more.”

“If I can, she can too.”

“Fine.” Hera crossed her arms and pouted just a tad.

“Are you seriously disappointed because no one of your family is in fact a demon from Hell?” He asked her with a cocked eyebrow as he collected his photos again.

“No… Just that no one will let me take the child to church.” She was quick to defend herself.

“There’s always Christmas mass.” 

“Pah. That’s a long way off… Oh well.” Hera sighed.
